What is mentoring?
The Mentoring Program is based on the informal relationship that Mentor establishes with chosen Mentee.
A Mentor is an experienced employee, a specialist with high professional competences, who wants to share his/her knowledge and experience. Mentee is a student of the University of Wrocław, ready to develop own professional competences and improve interpersonal skills.
In the latest edition, 107 students (Mentees) are working with 49 Mentors.
The XIVth edition started in November 2024.
What is it about?
In every edition Mentor and Mentee meet min. 5 times.
The purpose of these meetings is to share a knowledge and experience with a young person who is just entering the area of professional work.
During the meetings a Mentor does not impose his or her opinion and does not give all the answers. Mentor gives an inspiration for Mentee and helps in discovering potential, indicates development opportunities, and provides feedback.
Why becoming a Mentor is a great choice?
