Mentoring Program - a perfect choice
We are starting the 14th edition of the mentoring programme.
Mentoring program focuses on students’ development in career planning. Mentoring is a “mentee-driven” process, whereby students consider their goals and professional plans , and discuss with their mentor about best ways of achieving these goals.
The mentor’s role is to facilitate their professional and personal development, by: sharing experience, giving advice and feedback, recommend actions and sometimes motivate to make a change.
If you need advice end encouragement related to your professional career – do not hesitate to apply!
In this edition you can choose from 19 English – speaking Mentors!
Benefits of participating in the programme:
- getting to know the specifics of work in the industry you are interested in;
- development of interpersonal skills such as communication, self-organization or goal setting;
- revision of career objectives;
- getting answers to the questions about your career that are bothering you;
- getting to know the specifics of the Polish labor market;
- strengthen self-esteem in relation to professional careers;
- establishing professional contacts;
Mentoring program`s schedule:
1) Till 27.10.2024 Mentors are preparing theirs BIOGRAM
2) From 11.2024 Mentors`s biograms are available! Application process for mentee. START: 04.11.2024 – END 6.12.2024.
3) Till 6.12.2024 you have to read Mentors profiles carefully, chose Mentor you would like to co-operate with, and fill application form.
4) In 12.2024 – Mentors will make a decision about inviting students to cooperation.
5) If you will be chosen by your Mentor – Academic Careers Office will invite you to a short preparing workshops ( January 2025).
6) From February/March 2025 you will be ready to start your journey with Mentor!
You will have 5 meetings (onsite/online).
7) 06.2025 – the ending of XIV edition.
